Kick-off meeting

Zagreb marked the starting point of our shared European journey with STTAIRS. Partners gathered for the first kick-off and coordination meeting of the Erasmus+ project Strengthening Teacher Training with AI through Remote-learning Spaces (STTAIRS), setting the foundations for our work plan, roles and next milestones.

Starting on 1 September 2025 and running for three years, STTAIRS is coordinated by CAFI – Centro Autonómico de Formación e Innovación (Spain). We are proud to collaborate with SRCE (Croatia), Universitat Ramon Llull Fundació (Spain), Agrupamento de Escolas de Cister – Alcobaça (Portugal), EUN PARTNERSHIP AISBL / European Schoolnet (Belgium) and Özel Anabilim Ortaokulu (Turkey).

The project’s objective is to design training programmes that integrate Artificial Intelligence tools into teachers’ professional development. We are committed to building a more equitable educational ecosystem, prepared for the challenges of the future, where inclusion, the well-being of the entire educational community and the ethical use of technology are the fundamental pillars. Our aim is to develop training programmes that integrate AI tools and are designed from and for teaching practice.

This first meeting in Zagreb was a strong step towards developing specialised manuals, high-quality training resources and an AI-enhanced e-learning environment that will support teachers’ pedagogical and digital growth while promoting inclusion and sustainability across European school contexts.
