Sharing experiences about AI in education

During April 2026, the STTAIRS consortium conducted focus groups with teachers across all five partner countries: Spain, Croatia, Belgium, Portugal, and Turkey.

These sessions brought together primary and secondary education teachers to discuss their experiences, challenges, and expectations regarding the use of artificial intelligence in education. The conversations explored four key dimensions: AI literacy, AI-enhanced pedagogy, responsible use and ethics, and training expectations.

The focus groups complement the online questionnaire distributed earlier this year, providing deeper qualitative insights into teachers’ real needs.

The project team is now analysing the results from both the focus groups and the questionnaire. The findings will directly inform the design of the STTAIRS training pathways under Work Package 3.

A full overview of the results will be presented at the Barcelona transnational meeting in June 2026.

We thank all the teachers who participated and shared their perspectives. Your input is essential to building training that truly responds to your needs.
